Palazzo Braschi

Palazzo Braschi is located between Piazza Navona and Corso Vittorio Emanuele II in the heart of Renaissance Rome.

The building was designed by architect Cosimo Morelli on behalf of Pope Pius VI. Its construction began in 1792 and the work will continue in the following years even after the Pope's death. Since 1952, the Palace houses the Museum of Rome.
